Located at the world famous Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, The Westside Eclectic has quickly become
one of Los Angeles’ premier comedy destinations. Recently named by Variety as "a top place to find talent in L.A,"
the theater offers four nights of live comedy every week, including weekly performances from some of the cities’ hottest improv, sketch and stand-up performers. With all tickets $8 or less, you can’t find a cheaper way to get great entertainment in LA.!

Unpredictable comedy from the top players from around Los Angeles, you never know what you'll see with the Waterbrains., Audience suggestions are given to as many as 20 players, who then create amazing scenarios using the "clap in" improv form. Following the Waterbrains are Vodkan & Donuts. Named after two of our favorite things, alcohol and sugar, Vodka and Donuts finds the hilarity in a fast-paced "clap-in" style improv show fueled by your audience suggestions., Directed by Stan Wells and Brian Mulligan.
The Gift Shop, Knights of Comedy & Great Adventure

Three great long form teams for a speacial July 5th show. The Gift Shop is Brian and Mason, a two man combo from the Being Humans and Waterbrains. They'll be debuting a new form! Following, is Chapman University's premier improv crew the Knights of Comedy. The Knights return to the WE with their high energy style and laugh filled set. Following these groups are WE favorites Great Adventure at 10:30 PM

Open Mic at The WE

Stand-up/Video: Come workshop your 3-5 minute stand-up bit, showcase a new sketch, or show a short video. Videos must be in DVD format. Sign-up ends at 10 p.m., and names are drawn for the 15 time slots. As always, admission is free of charge! Hosted by Alex Mesrobian.

3 Man Group

3Man Group is a two man longform improv group consisting of a balding skinny guy, Ryan Smith, and a chubby hairy guy, Brian D. Bradley. In 30 minutes they play multiple characters in several interweaving story lines, and if they're lucky, they make some sort of sense of it all.

The Westside Eclectic House Teams Headbone and Ladies & Gentlemen perform longform Improv just for you! Performers takea single suggestion from the audience and use it to inspire improvised scenes, characters and games that weave together to form one cohessive comedic piece.
